$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install freeorion-data 

freeorion-data is installed in your system.

Make ensure the freeorion-data package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep freeorion-data *

You will get with freeorion-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table

freeorion-data package basic information:
